Natalie Finegar specifically took on this case in order to challenge the State’s illegal curfew charges. Larry was brutally maced by the Baltimore City Police Department during the Freddie Gray protests. Although the State tried to take away Larry’s jury trial rights, Natalie found a way to get this case in front of the people of Baltimore, who clearly saw the brutal treatment Larry suffered. Larry was found not guilty of all charges and then when on to receive a civil settlement from Baltimore City.
